Defensive Classic II builds on the legacy of the original defensive blade with a refined 5-ply construction that enhances stability, touch, and overall control. Tailored for today’s defensive game, it features a slightly enlarged head and a softer outer layer, allowing for greater command over spin, pace, and ball placement. Its well-balanced design delivers a consistent yet responsive feel, giving players confidence in both passive and active strokes. Co-developed with Masato Shiono, this blade excels at generating heavy backspin to disrupt opponents, while still providing the precision needed to transition into sharp, decisive counterattacks.
